The Iran booth had alot of research about their food and sports, population. The popular sports are Soccer and Basketball,Martial Arts. Those are the most popular sports that people play everyday especially the kids. Martial Arts is like when you start competing to each other with different moves they haved learned. Soccer is when you put the ball on the ground and when you start playing you cant get the ball with your hands you have to be kicking it with your feets. Basketball is that there is 2 courts one court is for your team and the other court is for the other team your against with. There’s one ball and 5 persons in your team and 5 persons on the other team you have to bounce the ball with one hand and try to make the basket for your team the more points the more chance you can win. They have this bread that is called Pita Bread and it tastes like peanut butter. It smells like a peanut butter sandwich.

When I saw the Madagascar booth it was exciting because it had all kinds of animals and their habitats, or what kind of places they lived in. Then they also showed what they eat. When I saw the booth, I thought it was cool and interesting because of the pictures. They also had music that sounds like animals speaking and things they are saying. They also had pictures of movies and other kinds of things they did for Madagascar.

There are many teachers who are Filapeno at our school. Speaking of the Philippines, that was the country I was reporting on in our second annual Dragon Festival. The booth was organized with foods and cool facts about the Philippines. It was difficult getting information because the booth was pretty busy. In the booth it showed that they eat a purple rice called ube. The booth also said that the country is located in Asia. The people who set up the booth had very good details and were very organized. Unfortunately, that’s all the information I have for now – tune in for more next year!

My booth country was Spain by Ms.Eustis’ advisory. One fact that I learned about Spain is that England’s presence in the Americas brought conflict between Spain and England. The booth was very nice and neat. It also contained a lot of information. The booth was very busy and it had a lot of people so it was kind of hard to see the booth, but I found my way and got the information.

IN THE U.S.A. BOOTH THEY HAD ALOT OF INFORMATION ABOUT U.S.A. THE U.S.A. BOOTH WAS IN MY OPINION THE BIGEST BOOTH WITH ALOT BOARDS. THE U.S.A. BOOTH DID ALL OF THE 50 STATES IN AMERICA INCLUDING ALASKA AND HAWAII. THE U.S.A. CLASS BOOTH WAS DONE BY ALL 8TH GRADERS WITH MS.GELLER. I THINK THAT THE BOOTH WAS REALLY GOOD AND EXPLAINED ALOT ABOUT THE U.S.

Well, my booth country is Iraq. The advisory teachers are Ms.Estrella and Ms. Bloch. It looked sort of pretty, but the only thing is that it had too much information and I don’t remember seeing any pictures. There was not that much noise – only a little bit of people in the booth were talking. It was kind of busy, though. There was no food at the booth, so I don’t know how the food in Iraq tastes like. One thing about Iraq is that there is a war there that we’re fighting it. Also, there is oil there. One thing that I really liked about the booth is that there was a tent there. It was cool.

The Ghana booth was really colorful. It was really neat and I absolutely loved it because it smelled great. It was also well decorated. The boards had a lot of information and interesting facts about what the people were into doing. The booth seemed well organized and pretty empty at first, but then the students started to give out cookies and it started to get packed with many students. My favorite part of the booth was the cookies they were giving out. Their booth had pretty decorations. The background music was African drums. Everything was nice but the best part was the cookies that they gave out.

In the booth for Brazil they had a lot of maps of the country. Brazil is a big country like the United States. There were pictures of their different sports from Brazil. Soccer is one of the most famous sports in Brazil. They were also giving out marriage certificates at the booth.

Guatemala booth had lots of information about their country. The booth talked about entertainment, food, climate, clothes,and geography. Guatemala’s climate in the northeast is hot throughout the year, but nights are cool. Guatemala has a river where you could go water rafting. Guatemala’s food is a blend of the Spanish, Indiana, and European.

Canada is a very big country. The people from Canada love sports. They really like the sport Hokey. They can also speak the langauge French. The
