Throughout the Dragon Festival there were many performances. All of them international. One of the performances was World Drumming. The drummers played a song called Gun Go Do. The way they were in rows looked really cool. Their song sounded very cultural and loud enough for everyone to hear. The audience seemed to be interested in this different type of music.
Another performance was the Dance of Tapatio. The Dance of Tapatio is a type of Mexican dance. The boy was dressed as “Charro” and the girl was wearing a traditional dress. The music had a happy beat which made the dance really nice. Many people were enjoying it.
There was also the interpretation of a mime. The mime was one of the seventh graders. He looked exactly like a mime with white face painting and and black clothes. His interpretations of him stuck inside a box surprised the people because it looked so real.
There was also other performances and they were all interesting. Specially because they were all international, which caught peoples’ eyes.
